Hi there,

As a dog-owner myself, I am constantly struck by how little we are required to know before being entrusted with the life of an animal!

My work with EducatorLabs already has me curating resource guides as jump-offs for public knowledge. I am very excited to be building one on pet health and safety! Everyone knows about chocolate being dangerous for dogs, but there are so many other food items, chemicals and other risk factors that we all need to be careful about – particularly in these hot summer months!

I came across your site (here: http://www.dancingpawspetcare.com/helpful-links/) in my research, and I wanted to thank you for your dedication to dog health! I’d like to offer up some of my favorite sites encountered thus far in my research, in hopes that you’ll share them with your site’s audience and as such help me on my mission.

Hi,

I wanted to take the time to say how much I appreciated your page http://www.dancingpawspetcare.com/helpful-links

I am bringing home a new puppy in a few weeks, and since my son really wants to help care for him, we have been working together on researching all things puppy related. Your page had some great resources as did this https://www.rover.com/dog-proofing-your-home/

I thought you might enjoy taking a look, the article discusses puppy proofing all of the rooms in your home to make them safe for dogs. I think it would make a great addition to your other resources and would love to hear what you think.

Best,

Emily

After months of begging from our children and lots of deliberation on our part, my husband and I recently made the decision to let Ava and Owen pick out a puppy. Zach and I have been searching online for some helpful information so we feel prepared and some sources our kids can use to understand how much responsibility taking care of an animal will be. We came across your page http://www.dancingpawspetcare.com/helpful-links/ and found it very useful. We appreciate the great resource.

During our search we also came across this page http://bluebuffalo.com/library/a-kids-guide-to-dogs-and-puppies/ , and we thought that you might want to check it out. It has been a great reference for Ava and Owen and we think it could make a great addition to your page. Let me know if you decide to throw it on there!

Thanks again for providing my family with the great resource! We are all feeling a bit more prepared to welcome our new member!
